Storytelling is one of the best ways to communicate to your audience and connect with them on and emotional and deeper level.


We all love a good story, right? That's why we get hooked and binge watch whole series on Netflix, Amazon prime and Apple TV. Everyone has a story to tell so why not tell yours through video? Here is an example of a great story that has connected with many people that we helped Tammy tell.




SO, WHY TELL YOUR STORY?


DOPAMINE IN THE BRAIN

When someone hears or watches a compelling story dopamine can be released into the brain to solidify the story and make it easier to remember. People's brains become more alert, focused and excited. When you tell a compelling story you make an impact on your audience that allows them to remember who you are and your story in greater detail. This can be a huge catalyst for people to think about you more, share your story with others or even make decisions about your organization or brand.


CONNECTION WITH THE STORY

Storytelling, also creates and interactive and emotional experience. Stories help people use their imagination and find themselves in the story. When we hear a story that is compelling innately we try to find ourselves in that story. Our imaginations run wild and our past experiences and stories begin to connect with the story we are being told. This creates a connection with the storyteller and the audience that just data or pictures may not be able to achieve.


DIFFERENT AND UNFORGETTABLE

Storytelling helps set your organization and brand apart from others. Companies spend millions of dollars to fight for peoples attention so how do you compete? You have to set yourself apart.
